VPN for your phone and laptop: one key, every device
The key is the same everywhere. Only the client changes.
One key, up to five devices
One ViewPoint VPN key works on up to five devices at once: a phone, a laptop, a tablet and a couple more. Each device needs a free client app that understands VLESS, the protocol behind the key. You paste the same key into each one, so a new device takes a minute rather than a new subscription.
Any client that speaks VLESS takes the key. Tell the bot your device and it will point you to one.
Ask in the botWhich free client goes where
- Streisand, V2Box and Hiddify all run on iPhone and iPad and cost nothing in the App Store.
- On Android, v2rayNG or Hiddify from Google Play.
- On a Mac, V2Box from the App Store or Hiddify from the project's own page.
- On Windows, Hiddify or v2rayN, downloaded from their official pages.
Why a separate client at all
The key is a line of text that holds a server address and the settings to reach it. The client turns that line into a tunnel and hands it to the operating system. Because the clients are open source and maintained by other people, you are not installing an app from us, and the same key keeps working if you switch from one client to another.
Settings worth checking on every device
- Start the client automatically when the device starts.
- Turn on connect-on-demand or auto-connect for unknown Wi-Fi, if the client offers it.
- Use the client's full-device mode, not a browser-only proxy, so every app is covered.
- Keep the client updated from its store or official page.
Which device to cover first
Cover the phone first. It is the device that joins hotel, airport and cafe networks without asking, because it remembers network names and reconnects to anything that uses the same name again. Someone can set up a hotspot called "Airport Free WiFi" and a phone that once joined a network with that name may connect on its own.
The laptop comes second: it joins fewer networks, but it carries work files, banking sessions and saved passwords.
When a device cannot run a client
Some screens cannot install a client at all, such as many smart TVs and game consoles, and work laptops often block new software. For those, either connect them through a phone or laptop that runs the key, or ask whoever manages the work device. Do not install anything on a work laptop against company policy.
Questions
Do I need a separate key for my laptop?
No. A single key runs on up to five devices together.
Which client is easiest for a beginner?
Hiddify looks the same on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, which makes it easy to learn once.
Can I move the key to a new phone?
Yes. Paste it into the client on the new phone and remove it from the old one if you are at the device limit.
Does the client drain the battery?
A little while data moves. Idle, the difference is small.
Is it safe to install these clients?
Install them only from the official store or the project's own page. They are open source and widely used.
